Come out and join us for some soccer fun, games, food, and of course popsicles.

When: July 23rd, 24th, and 26th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Where: 151 Forest Rd. Hueytown, AL 35023
Cost: $40.00 per player
Ages: 5 to 14

All camp participants will receive a free t-shirt, water bottle, bag, and ball.

Gatorade will be provided for the participants along with a Steel City Popsicle and food at the end of each night.

**Camp participants will also receive 2 guest tickets for popsicles and food each night.

Registration Steps

CREATE YOUR NEW MEMBER ACCOUNT
After clicking the Register Now button below for your player's birth year, you will be asked to create a member account. Simply click the New Here? Create an Account tab when asked to log in to the registration system.

COMPLETE PARENT INFORMATION
After you create your new member account, you will need to fill out the parent/guardian form with your family information.

COMPLETE PLAYER REGISTRATION
Choose the age group and gender for your player, then fill out the player information. After you fill out the player form and click Next, you will be asked if you want to add more players or to finish registration and pay.

 

Note:  For parents of players in the 9U - 18U age groups, you will need to upload a photo and birth certificate of your player before they can be added to a team roster. For any players born in 2011 or later, you are not required to upload a birth certificate. You can upload a photo of your player to your account if you like. 

 

 

 Fees 

4U Little Kickers (Birth Years July 2016 - 12/31/2015)       $100.00  (includes reversible game jersey)

5U/6U    (Birth Years 01/01/2014 - 12/31/2013)                    $150.00   (includes reversible game jersey)

7U/8U    (Birth Years 01/01/2012 - 12/31/2011)                    $190.00   (includes reversible game jersey, shorts, socks)

9U- 18U  (Birth Years 01/01/2010 - 12/31/2000)                   $230.00   (includes reversible game jersey, shorts, socks)

*Parents of 9U -18U players must upload a photo and birth certificate for your player before they will be added to a team roster.

 

Fundraising Option to Lower Fees

Parents can choose not to participate in fundraising, as it is optional, and pay the full registration fee.  

HYSC offers a raffle ticket fundraiser as a way of helping parents offset the full registration costs by selling raffle tickets to family and friends. The club also offers prizes, such as free seasons of soccer and discounted seasons of soccer, for players that sell the most raffle tickets. If a parent chooses to participate in fundraising, they must sell 50 raffle tickets for $1.00 each. The tickets and proceeds must be turned in by Monday, October 8, 2018, by 7:00 p.m. at the concession stand.  The raffle will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. If you select the fundraising option during registration, your balance will be discounted by $50.00 at checkout. Once the minimum $50.00 in raffle tickets is turned in by the deadline, your account will be credited as paid in full. If the fundraising proceeds are not turned in by the deadline, players are ineligible until their account balance is paid in full. If you choose NOT to participate in fundraising, the full registration fee is due at checkout. The fundraising proceeds are used to help with field maintenance, utilities, field painting supplies, coaching education, and more.

Volunteer Requirement

Hueytown Youth Soccer Club is volunteer-based organization.

Parents are required to volunteer for one hour during the season for every child they register.  There are several volunteer areas to choose from.  If a parent wishes to opt out of volunteering, a $25.00 opt-out fee will be added to the final registration cost at checkout, per player.  In the event that a parent agrees to volunteer, but does not fulfill the commitment on the agreed upon date and time, the registered player will not be allowed to play until the volunteer commitment is met. Parents that choose to volunteer will receive advanced notice of dates and times they will be scheduled to volunteer. Parents that do not choose to pay the opt-out fee will be required to sign up for a volunteer assignment spot before Tuesday, September 3, 2018. Parents will receive all volunteering information from the volunteer coordinator.

Coach (4U through 18U) and assistant coach positions (9U through 18U only) offer a discounted registration fee. These positions are filled on a first come basis. If you would like to volunteer as a coach or assistant coach please send an email with your name, child's name, age, and telephone number to  hueytownsoccer@gmail.com.

All Coach and Assistant Coach positions have to be approved by the registrar for any discounts to be applied.

 

Payment Options

After you have completed the parent and player information, you will be able to see your total fees. You can choose to pay by debit or credit card online. If you would like to pay with cash, you will need to select the pay by check option during checkout. This will allow you to finish the registration. You will need to come to the field on one of the in-person registration dates to pay. Only cash,  debit/credit cards, and money orders will be accepted during in-person registration.      NO CHECKS

Any players with a balance at the close of registration will not be added to a team roster. 

Note: No credit card information is stored, and all information is encrypted for your security.

- Teams compete in the Central Alabama Soccer League (CASL) against other soccer clubs around Jefferson County.

- Volunteer coaches are needed. (Please select coach during the registration process if you are interested)

Includes game jersey, shorts, and socks

- Coaches Meeting (required for all CASL coaches) Monday, August 20, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., at the soccer complex. 

- Parent Meeting at the soccer complex on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.

- CASL practices can begin on August 23, 2018.

Academy Program

Birth Years 2010 - 2008

 

**This registration is only for players that attended the Academy evaluations in May. 

 

Note: Parents of Academy players must upload a copy of your child's birth certificate to your account. You must also upload a headshot of your player from the shoulders up. This will be used for their player pass. 

 

MISSION: To promote holistic player development over team development through a child-centered environment during the most the key developmental window.

 

WHY: The purpose is to increase player enjoyment, player retention, and improve the quality of soccer player developing throughout the state

STRATEGY:

  • Focus on the holistic development of each player
  • Reduce the emphasis on players and coaches to earn results

 

WHEN: Fall 2018 - Spring of 2019 seasons

- Teams are overseen by United States Soccer Federation (USSF) Licensed Coaches

- Includes Fall and Spring Academy Showcases

- Uniform Kit

- Additional team fees 

- Scheduled games by Alabama Soccer Association

- End of season tournament
