Congratulations to our 11U Academy Boys for finishing as finalists at the 2017 Alabama Soccer Showdown.
US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, age 4-19, who has a cognitive or physical disability.
Program administrator- coordinates the program with the support of the league. Takes care of practice and game scheduling, ensuring there are enough volunteers to coach and act as buddies.
Buddies- an invaluable volunteer who participates directly with individual players or within a team with several players to enable participation in a soccer activity. A Buddy is not a player and does not score goals. They help the player succeed and keep them as safe as possible. Buddies can be a soccer player, someone who works with special needs children or someone who has no soccer experience, but a strong desire to enable children to have fun.
Coaches- have a desire to teach the game of soccer to anyone wanting to learn.
Assistant Coaches- help with the coaching staff and will be assigned to a team to help the coach with activities, working with the players, and anything else needed at the time.
